Few issues are more important for serious journalism than cancer. Almost one in two of us will be diagnosed with the disease and its burden is growing globally. Journalism that is making a difference should be celebrated.
The international magazine Cancer World is looking for outstanding pieces of journalism published between October 2016 and April 2018 that are changing the way we think about cancer. The Cancer World Journalism Award encourages, celebrates and rewards journalists who deliver insights into the personal and social impact of the disease, and efforts to change policy, practice or advocacy. The work may be in print, online, on radio, video or television.
